SAW TREES IN THE DESERT
I saw trees in the desert;Forests of pines and olive trees;I saw lush fields of green and blooms; On a scorched, rocky and hostile landscape.I saw trees in the desert;Contrived forests on rocks, hills, and valleys;Man made, tended and irrigated ;Yet in full bloom all year round.I saw trees in the desert;Fields of crops and supple plants;Of fruits that salivates;I saw a green desert.I saw trees in the desert; In a land flowing with milk and honey; But it was clear to me that;Milk and honey weren’t there from the beginning.I saw trees in the desert;I saw too an endless stretch of arid and barren land; And I learnt that the desert is never in want of sweepers; It simply sweeps itself clean.I saw trees in the desert; And other things too;I saw and felt the presence of God;Upon the land of His own.SHALOM!
